OBITUARY

MRS. D. CONNOR The death occurred this week of Mrs. D. Connor, of Liffiton Street, Wanganui, at the age of 59 years, following a short Illness. Mrs. Connor was born in Lyttelton, and married Mr. J. T. Muir, in 1905. Mr. Muir died in 1914, and in 1918 Mrs. Connor was married to Captain D. Connor. Mrs. Connor was well known for her work for the St. Vincent Paul Society during her 40 years' residence in Wanganui, and gave much assistance when St. Anthony's Church School was erected at. Gonville. She is survived by her husband and two sons, and two daughters by her first marriage. The sons arc Messrs. J. B. Muir (Te Awamutu) and A. V. Muir (Wellington), and the daughters Misses C. M. and V. M. Muir, of Christchurch. The funeral of the late Mrs. Connor took place at the Wanganui Old Catholic Cemetery after Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church by the Rev. Father C. J. Outtrim. The ballbearers were Messrs. J. Connor, L. Connor, J. Connor, and L. Comrie.
