(From Our Own Correspondents) WAVERLEY Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Barrow and their small daughter Shirley left yesterday for Manakatr, where they will be the guests of Mrs. W. Swainson. Miss Dorothy Simson left yesterday for Palmerston North, where she has taken a position on the staff of the Maitland Private Hospital. Miss Nancy Orphert, who has been the guest of Mrs. H. Boyer, has returned home to Wellington. WAITOTARA Mrs. Todd (Hawke's Bay), Miss Barbara Skeet (New Plymouth), and Miss P. Graham (Auckland) were the guests of Mrs. E. Parsons for the Walkinton—Parsons wedding. Miss Kathleen White, Wellington, was the guest of Mrs. Eric Brewer for the Walkinton—Parsons wedding. Constable and Mrs. Olsen and Miss E. Olsen have returned from a six weeks’ motor tour of the North and South Island.
Mrs. W. Hurley and Miss R. Hurley have left for a motor tour of the South Island. Mr., Mrs. and Miss McConachy have left by car for a holiday in Auckland.
