FOREIGN RADIO

FRANCE TO COMBAT BROADCASTS PARIS. Feb. 3. The Government is constructing a number of powerful radio stations to combat hostile foreign broadcasts. “If there is tension in the world today, it is almost exclusively due to the agitation of the irresponsible international Press which insists on agitating and racking the nerves of unhappy mankind,” said Serr Hitler in his speech at the opening of the Greater Reichstag. “An attempt has been made in the last few months to use wireless for these criminal designs. If these broadcasts into Germany do not desist we shall soon reply to them in kind.”
