Miss Hargreaves, of Nelson, who has been the guest of Mrs. Sharland, Plymouth Street, has left for Palmerston North and later will visit Marton.

Miss Margaret Hine, Victoria Avenue, is spending a holiday at Opunake Beach, as the guest of Mrs. Bruce Joll.

Miss N. Hales, Wicksteed Street, has been spending a holiday at Lake Taupo as the guest of Mrs. T. Vaugham and is now visiting Hastings.

Mrs. V. Collins, of Auckland, is the guest of Nurse Jack, Wanganui, for the wedding of her niece, Miss Ivy Edna Barrington, to Mr. Johansson. Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Sperring, Kawatiri Avenue, were visitors to New Plymouth for the national flower show, at which they were successful in gaining first and second place in the open class for carnations
