B.B.C.’s REGRET

EMBARRASSMENT FOR DOMINION LONDON, Jan. 12. The British Broadcasting Corporation stated in a roadbeast in connection with Professor N. E. Hall’s recent talk that the New Zealand Government had stated it had embarrassed them. “This we regret, and have arranged for another viewpoint to be heard later,” stated the 8.8. C. The New Zealand High Commissioner (Mr. W. J. Jordan) informed the Australian Associated Press this week that he had called on Mr. Malcolm MacDonald (Dominions Secretary) who had expressed the opinion that Professor N. E. Hall’s broadcast on January 4 concerning the Import Control Regulations was unfortunate and undesirable, and he undertook to take up the matter with the chairman of the British Broadcasting Corporation immediately.
