ARRESTS IN DENMARK

BARRISTER AND DETECTIVE Received Jan. 6. 12.5 a.m. COPENHAGEN, Jan. 5. Ejler Pontopidan,. a barrister, has been arrested and accused with copying secret police documents for the Nazis. A detective has also been arrested and charged with abetting him. The arrests followed a case wherein Pontopidan defended a Danish Nazi leader, Clausen, who was fined £lO for falsely accusing the Minister of Justice of smuggling undesirable aliens into Denmark. Pontopidan, during the hearing, revealed details of police documents.
