BLOODSTOCK SALES

YEARLINGS AT TRENTHAM , For the national thoroughbred sales. Ito be held at Trentham on January 18, there is a record entry of 210 yearlings, representing 44 sires. Fifteen of these sires are New Zealand-bred, one is an Australian, and the remainder are imported English sires. On January 20 will take place the dispersal sale of the Mana Stud, Hawke’s Bay, including the stallion Siegfried, and 100 brood mares and horses in training. The Elderslie Stud’s dispersal sale will take place at Elderslie, near Oamaru, on Thursday of next week, January 12, when 29 mares, also young stock, will be submitted. Catalogues are now obtainable.
