EXPELLED BY RUSSIA IS IT PREPARATION FOR WAR? NEW RUSSIAN ARMY OATH .. (By Telegraph—Pros. Association—Coprnghtj Received Jan. 4, 5.50 p.r.i. WAKSAvv, jan. 4. It is reported from Moscow that the Soviet Government intends to expe. before the end of the month, all Germans living in Russia. The Warsaw correspondent of The Times says that it is estimated that hundreds of Germans win be uuected by the Soviet’s expulsion decision, including not only German specialists engaged in Soviet industry, om also many German Communists who sought refuge in Russia irorn the Nazi regime, but who have since oeen stigmatised as not unreservedly loyal to the Stalinist Party. The Riga correspondent of the Daily Mail says that the decision is regarded in some Moscow circles as part of the Soviet’s preparations for a possible war. The text of the new oath being taken by the entire Soviet Army on March 23, the Army’s 21st anniversary, is: "I solemnly pledge myself, an honest, courageous ana vigilant warrior, to guard military State secrets, and obey, without objection, all military regulations and orders.' I further pledge myself to safeguard the people's property and come out whenever called on to defend my Soviet Fatherland, not sparing my blood, or very life for the achievement of complete victory over enemies. If I violate this pledge let the people’s hatred and scorn be my lot."
