WANGANUI STOCK SALE
STORE LAMB MARKET QUIET JACKSON AND COMPANY’S REPORT Freeman R. Jackson and Co., Ltd., started the 1939 live stock season with a moderate yarding in all sections except the fat sheep entry, which came forwarded in large numbers. Fat sheep, of all classes showed a slight decline, while fat pigs and stores appreciated considerably on the closing sale of last year. There was a definitely cautious tone when the first store lambs of the season were placed before the public.
