MIDSUMMER MEETING THE GENERAL ENTRIES. General entries for the minor events at the Auckland Racing Club’s summer meeting, to be held on December 26 and 28 and January 2 and 3, closed on Friday, with a total of 720 for 22 races, compared with 622 last year. The largest entry was received for the Grey Handicap, which drew 51 nominations.
