SUCCESSFUL DANCE

HELD AT MANGAMAHL A successful dance was held in the Mangamahu Hall on Saturday evening. There was a large attendance, including visitors from as far afield as : Wanganui, Marton, and Waverley. The hall was beautifully decorated with blue and white streamers, aim ie music was supplied by Phil .'■.hern’s orchestra. Extras were played I by Mrs. L. McCormick and Miss D. McDonnell. A tasty super was serveo ■in Mrs. J. Archer's dining-room, i where the tables were decorated with ■ Iceland poppies and lilies. i Among the many present were Mesdames McDowall, Voyce, Chamoers, i Lee, McCormick, Cook, Braid, Moore. 'McGuire, Gray (2), Ward, Sharpe, j and Misses C. Archer, D. McDonnell, IL. Ellis, J. Brown, Anderson (2), A. I Nuffield, and Z. Padewski.
