, SUCCESSFUL EUCHRE TOURNEY The series of euchre tournaments held by the Marton Bowling Club dura ing the past few months have proved - very popular, and on an average s eighteen tables have been occupied of a an evening. On Tuesday night sixteen _ tables were occupied, the winners bee ing Mr. L. Gordon (men) and Mrs. G. penbow (ladies), whilst the consolai tion prizes were won by Mr. and Mrs. _ H. J. Moore. On Monday a social evening and euchre tourney will be held in the club’s pavilion in honour of Mrs. H. Shields, who has rendered loyal ser--1 vice on the ladies’ committee on the 5 social side.
