THE WANGANUI CLUB ANNUAL MEETING HELD “The programmes submitte d during the season have been varied,” stated the report of the Wanganui Cine Club, presented at the annual meeting, which was presided over by Mr. B. R. Dobbs. “They have included projection of members’ films, discussions on allied subjects to cine photography, a demonstration on reducing films by Mr. C. S. Cooper, a demonstration on animated titling by Mr. H. Fowler, and experiments in indoor night shots. "Through the generosity of Mr. A. Tasker, a cup was given to the club for competition and the present holder] is Mr. G. Alward. During the year members have experimented with natural colour photography, and the films which have been screened at the meetings have shown great possibilities in this branch of cine work.” The report thanked all those who assisted the club during the year. The election of officers resulted:— Patron and honorary adviser, Mr. T. Metcalfe; president, Mr. K. V. Broughton; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Wansbrough; executive committee, Messrs. C. Fowler, J. Morgan, and C. Coull. It was decided to have a field day at an early date, and to co-operate with the Hastings and Palmeston North clubs.
