WHARFAGE DUES RAISED
BLUFF HARBOUR BOARD [ Per Press Association.} INVERCARGILL, Oct. 26. Following the lead of most of the other boards in New Zealand, the Bluff Harbour Board decided this evening to increase the wharfage dues by 10 per cent from November 1. The increase is to meet the excess of estimated expenditure over estimated revenue. the excess being £3740. There will be no increase in shipping charges, the higher levy affecting only cargo handled at the port.
