GOOD WISHES TO MR. HAMILTON [ Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Oct. 10. Enthusiasm and optimism marked the complimentary luncheon given lo the Hon. Adam Hamilton, Leader of the Opposition, to-day before his departure to begin a tour of the principal cities. Three messages, conveying congratulations and best wishes from the Wallace, Awarua, and Invercargill electorates, were read and a special one was handed to Mr. Hamilton as he was stepping on to the train, to which he was piped, and there was a large crowd in attendance. The latter message expressed confidence that Southland would return four National Party members to Parliament and the rest of the Dominion would abolish Socialism- and regain its freedom and security by voting National.
