WOMAN DOCTOR S WORK Known as “the Florence Nightingale of Serbia,” Dr. K. S. Macphail went to Serbia with the British Hospital United in 1914 and to-day, 24 years later, she is still there. Aftci the Armistice Dr. Macphail obtained funds 1o build the British Hospital al Kamenica, near Belgrade, where she tends suffering Yugoslavian children A Scotswoman, middle-aged and with a strong sense of humour, Dr. Macphail has an endless capacity foi work.
