Y.M.C.A. INTER-HOUSE LEAGUE DRAW FOR TO-NIGHT The following draw has been arranged for the third series of matches in the second round of the Y.M.C.A. Men’s Inter-house Basketball League competition:— 7.15 p.m.—Celtic v. Newsome’s. 7.50 p.m.—W.D.A.B. v. Y.M.C.A. 8.25 p.m.—Woolworth’s v. Tech. Old Boys. AU matches will be played in the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium and teams are requested to turn out punctually. It is pleasing to note that teams are settling down to the fact that ragged play does not pay, but there is stiil some evidence of this type of play existing. The positions of teams alter the series last Wednesday are as follows, each team having played nine games: Y.M.C.A., 7 won, 1 drawn, 1 lost, 163 points for, 121 points against, 15 points; Celtic, 6,1, 2, 144, 128, 13; Woolworths’, 6,1, 2, 147, 136, 13; W.D.A.8., 5,0, 4, 159, 162, 10; Newsome’s, 3,2, 4, 129, 139, 8; Tech. Old Boys, 3,1, 5, 118, 153, 7.
