SUDDEN FLASH OF 4 IT’JT NT I Per Press A**ociat.on. I NEW PLYMOUTH. May 26. Nelson Tuck, aged 31. died as the result of an electric shock. He -vas: a linesman employed by Inc Ne-i Plymouth Borough Council and har two children, his wife still bein'; in r maternity hospital with (he yovn.-cst Tuck, with other members of th< staff, was working on lines at Vogel town. He climbed a pole to cit of the power to facilitate the werk anc signalled that the power had been disconnected. Then there was a flash, as though of a short circuit. Tuck fell backwards to the ground, probably receiving a severe injury in the fall. He was taken to hospital in ar ambulance and died soon afterwards This is the second fatal accident ir similar circumstances to the samk staff in a few months.
