GERM WHICH CAUSES MEASLES
DISCOVERY BY DOCTOR Received May 26, 8.40 p.m. LONDON, May 26. The Paris correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that Dr. Harry Plotz, head of the laboratory of the Pasteur Institute, told the French Academy of Medicine that he had discovered the germ that causes measles. It is “filterable virus," and Dr. Plotz said that he believed it was possible to develop a serum vaccine to prevent the disease, but it might take years of research.
