NEW COMPANY TAKES OVER ACTIVITIES DEVELOPMENT OF LEGITIMATE STAGE Received Mav 25, 10.25 p.m. SYDNEY, May 25. Australian and New Zealand Theatres, Limited, it is announced, hat taken over the entertainment activities of J. C. Williamson, Limited. The new company, which will have a capital of £105,000, also acquired the leases of the whole of the Williamson theatres in Australia and Neu Zealand and comprehensive plans will be considered for the development of the legitimate stage and concert business as well as broadcasting The board of directors comprises Mr K. Asprey, Sir George Tallis, Sil Hugh Denison, Mr Arthur Allen, M; R. Denison, Mr Hugh Chambers, Mi Frank Tait, Mr Stanley Crick, and Mt George Dean. The last, three arc managing-directors.
