o PROGRAMME FOR KING AND | QUEEN [ British Official Wireless ] RUGBY, May 10. j The programme of the State visit i of the King and Queen to Paris from I June 28 to July 1 is now complete. | They will travel via Dover and ; Boulogne and on arrival at Paris will ; be received at the station by the 1 President and Madame Lebrun, after I which will follow a State drive to the ’ Quai d’Orsay Palace, where they will ; stay during the visit. Following an official call on the ; President and Madame Lebrun, the I King will receive members of diplo- i matic circles, and there will follow a State banquet and soiree. On June 29 the King will lay a wreath at the Unknown Warrior’s Tomb. With the Queen he will attend a reception at the Hotel de Ville and later will visit an exhibition of British paintings at the Louvre, , and will be present at a garden party. ' In the evening the President and ' Madame Lebrun will be guests of the j King and Queen at a dinner at the | British Embassy, followed by a gala • performance at the opera. I A military display at Satory will be ■’ attended by the King on June 30, and > later with the Queen he will lunch at ' Versailles and attend a reception by , the Foreign Office. The chief event on July 1 will bo ■ the unveiling by the King of the Aus- | tralian national war memorial at Vjl- . lers Bretonneux, after which the i King and Queen will return to Lon- | don. via Calais and Dover.
