WEDDING OF NEW ZEALAND INTEREST

BRIDE A FORMER HAMILTON GIRL MELBOURNE, May 11. A wedding of New Zealand Interest was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church, at Prahran, when Frances McGarry, formerly of Hamilton, New Zealand, was married to Ralph Knowles, formerly of Christchurch. The bride wore a veil edged with silver lace lent by New Zealand friends, and a robe of pearl-tinted satin. Mrs Wolf, of Melbourne, sister of the bride, was matron of honour. Miss Violet Devicich, of Hamilton, a girlhood friend, was bridesmaid. The bride's mother and the parents of the bridegroom travelled from New Zealand for the ceremony, accompanied by Mrs P. W. Wilkes, of Christchurch.' The wedding cake was brought from New Zealand by Mrs Knowles.
