HOPES REVIVED IN LONDON CANADIAN REPORTS MORE FAVOURABLE LONDON, May 9. It is understood that hopes have been revived for an early decision to construct two liners for the transpacific service. The Canadians, who have been the stumbling block delaying the necessary Parliamentary legislation, now appear to be more favourable and expect shortly to fall into line with England, Australia, and New Zealand.
