STEAMER TEES SAILS

SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES [Ter Press Association.} CHRISTCHURCH, May 1. After being held up at Lyttelton fur a week because of disputes with the crew, the steamer Tecs sailed last night for the Chatham Islands. Mr P. F. Walsh, president of the Seamen’s Federation, arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning and addressed a meeting of seamen. Later he conferred with the agents for the Tees, Messrs W. W. Toy and Coy., and a settlement said to be satisfactory to both sides was made. The new crew, which included some members of the former crew, began work aboard the vesse. l at 9 a.m., and the Tees sailed at 7.ib p.m.
