PERSONAL Mr. A. Tippett, Bank of New Zealand, has left for Hunterville, where he will relieve for a few weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Morris, Australia, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. F. Rowley. Miss D. Mahon, Auckland, has been spending a holiday with Mrs. W. L. Bailey, Kawhatau. Mr. and Mrs. C. Hurst, who have been visiting Mrs. S. Dickinson, have now returned to Wanganui.
The Mangaweka Golf Club hopes fo open its golf links during the weekend weather permitting.
