PIPE BAND DANCE
The Wanganui Highland Pipe Band will resume their weekly dances for the 1938 season in the Carlton Ballroom this evening. The hall has been specially decorated for the occasion, streamers and novel lighting effects being features of the decoration. A spotlight has ben installed, and floodlighting will add to the attractiveness of this popular dance hall. The Masqueraders’ Dance Band will play al Ithe latest dance numbers as weil as modern hits. For the big reopening carnival night this evening confetti, streamers and novelties galore will be provided for patrons, and there will be special supper arrangements. Mr J. Meikle will be the M.C.
