ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
PUBLIC DUTIES FOR TO-DAY
The following is lhe roster of duties for the St. John Ambulance Brigade to-day:—
Racecourse. Sergt. H. Reardon, Corp. W. Scanlon, Privates E. Anderson, E. Hamling, B. Brider, J. Sheppard. Technical College.--Private S. McKinley. Williams Park.-—Privates L. Kaye, N. Roscoe. Annual Competitions. The annual competitions of the Wanganui district will be held in Cook’s Gardens to-day, at 1.30 p.m. Squads from Taranaki, Marton, and the local divisions will be competing. Those citizens who are interested in this work are invited to be present. In the evening a social will be held in the Ambulance Hall, Trafalgar Place. The social will take the form of dancing, items, and the presentation of trophies to the winning teams, also Grand Prior badges and certificates.
