Mrs. W. Russell, St. John’s Hill, is holidaying at Pipiriki. Mrs. C. Haldane, Hastings, is visiting Wanganui for Easter.

Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Seton, of Hastings, are spending the week-end in Wanganui.

Mr. and Mrs. G. James, Gonville, are spending Easter in Auckland.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Sampson, St. John’s Hill, left on Thursday for Turangi.

Mr. and Mrs. W. Hamilton are Waipukurau visitors to Wanganui for Easter.

Mr. and Mrs. Gifford Moore, Glasgow Street, with their daughter, motored to Wellington yesterday to spend Easter.

Miss Myra McGill, of the Wanganui Hospital nursing staff, is on annual leave and is visting her parents at Whangamomona. Misses Peggy Strachan and Marjorie Todd are spending a motoring holiday in the Rotorua district. • • • • Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Johnson, of Kai Iwi, will be visitors to Hawke’s Bay during Easter.

The Rev. Mortimer Jones and Mrs. Jones, of Waipukurau, will be visitors to Wanganui for the week-end. ♦ * * • Miss Francis Russell, Wellington, and formerly of this city, will spend Easter in Hastings and later a fewdays in Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. John Redwood, Lower Hutt, are spending the Easter holidays in Wanganui.

Mrs. B. L. Joll, Hawera, arrived in Wanganui on Thursday on a visit to her mother, Mrs. Raine.

Mrs. Rhoda Hammond is visting her mother, Mrs. R. Neumann at “Nether!**igh,” Wanganui East, for Easter.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McLeod have returned to their home at Sanson after spending a few days at Okoia with Mr. and Mrs. G. McLeod.

Mrs. A. J. Rutherford, New Plymouth, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. C. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Fowler, of National Park, are the guests of Mrs. Fowler's aunt, Mrs. F. C. Fantham. Wicksteed Street, for *he Collegiate School festivities and Old Boys’ ball. • • • * Mrs. D. Stewart, Murchison, who has been visting Mr. and Mrs. S. Rathbone, St. John’s Hill, has returned to the South Island.

Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Lomas, Campbell Street, are spending Easter with Mrs. Lomas, sen., at Lower Hutt.

Mrs. Guy Cooper, Wellington, arrived on Thursday and is the guest of Miss E. Parsons, Bell Street.

Miss Shirley Nancarrow, Plymouth Street, has as her guests for the Easter festivites, Miss Glenn, of Hawera, and the Misses Abrahams, of Dunedin.

Mrs. Harry Parsons and Miss Ninette Parsons, of Waipukurau, will arrive in Wanganui to-day for the Collegiate School festivities and will be the guests of Miss E. Parsons, Bell Street.

Mrs. Cecil Wynn-Williams and Miss Ruth Wynn-Williams, who have been visiting Mrs. T. Latham, St. Johns Hill, have returned to Christchurch.

Mrs. Keill, who lives with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Price, Nelson Street, recently celebrated her 89th birthday when friends in Wanganui and Nelson sent remembrances to her
