George Alfred James Bell, bank clerk, aged 45, who pleaded guilty in I he Magistrate’s Court at Wellington to-day to theft of moneys totalling £1523 JOs from the Post Office Savings Bank. Wellington ,and five charges of forging savings bank withdrawal receipts, wa» commuted for sentence at the next sitting of the Supreme Court
