ROWING VISITORS

OARSMEN IN WANGANUI

CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA

Visiting oarsmen from Invercargill and Auckland have already arrived in Wanganui for the New Zealand championship regatta, which is to be held on the Wanganui River on Easter Saturday. More visitors are expected to-morrow and Friday, and altogether it is expected that some 400 oarsmen will be competining. From Auckland the West End and Auckland Club crews have arrived, and the Southland visitors are the Invercargill Railway crew. The stroke of the Invercargil Railway four, J. Hogan, is suffering from a slight attack of pleurisy and acting under medical advice has refrained from training for a day or two.
