DR. MALCOLM SARGENT
TO CONDUCT CONCERTS IN DOMINION IN 1940 CHORAL UNIONS- ARRANGEMENT [ Per Press Aswrifttlon. I WELLINGTON. April 1. The Royal Choral Union of Wellington. co-operating with the Choral Society, Auckland, have by cable definitely arranged with Dr. Malcolm Sargent, the eminent. English conductor, to conduct 12 concerts in New Zealand centres in 1940. The concerts will be given during the month of July and August. Dr. Sargent is under engagement to visit Australia during the approaching winter, but will not undertake any concerts in New Zealand this year. In 1910 he will not conduct any concerts In Australia.
