LODGE MEMBERS’ TRIBUTE »IK. F. RAMSBOTTOM LEAVES On the eve o£ their departure for an extended overseas tour the Mayor of Patea, Mr. F. Ramsbottom, and Mrs. Ramsbottom were farewelled on Thursday evening. Members of the Star of Egmon-t U.A.O.D. were the ■hosts. Bro. G. Cosford, Arch Druid, extended heartiest congratulations to the guests of honour, adding that Mr. Ramsbottom had fully earned the vacation in the time he had been connected with the lodge. 1 Bro. Haworth, P.A.D., commented ■ on the fact that Mr. Ramsbottom had ■ been secretary for 25 years out of 1 a total of 36 years’ service. He con- 1 sidered that it was a record in Taranaki. i Bro. F. Spooner, the oldest member present, traced the growth of the ' lodge from small beginnings to its , present dimensions. 1 Bro. J.
