NO LIMIT

GOLF BAGS IN N.S.W. NUMBER OF CLUBS CARRIED. SYDNEY, March 9. The New South Wales Golf Council has decided not to limit the number of clubs which a player may carry in competition. It is considered that the "right of a player to carry as many clubs as desired should not be interefered with.”' A cablegram received on Tuesday from Melbourne stated that the Victorian Association has decided to limit the number of clubs to fourteen. A census was taken early last year and in May a proposal was considered by the Royal and Ancient to limit the number of clul s to fourteen. The proposal was defeated owing to the failure of its sponsors to secure a twothirds majority.
