DISTINGUISHED ECONOMIST [ Per Press Ansoc’.ation.] AUCKLAND, Feb. 2 Advice has been received in Auckland that Sir Josiah Stamp, one of the most distinguished economists and financial authorities in Great Britain and a director of the Bank of England. proposes to make a short stay in New Zealand at the conclusion of the visit he is r.cw making in Australia. He is in Sydney as an official visitor to Australia's sesquicentena’-y celebrations. Details concerning his New Zealand visit are not announced but it is expected that he will come
