Dr. Hammond will l arrive at Auckland on January 10 and j will spend the first ten days of his I visit in the Auckland province before proceeding via the East Coast to Wellington. lie will also spend appt oxi- I mately three weeks in the South Island. Arrangements have been made for Dr. Hammond to give lectures on a variety of animal problems in the Waikato, Manawalu, Taranaki, Canterbury, and Southland districts. Dr. Hammond will be mainly concerned with questions of breeding and breeind efficiencies, carcase quality, and nutritional problems.
