REQUEST TO MR ALEX STEAK 1 HE IS WILLING TO STAND In response to a request of a large deputation, Mr Alex Stuart, of Marton, has consented to go before the selection committee as a National Party candidate for the next general election. Mr Stuart said that although he was not desirous of entering politics again, he could not altogether refuse the request of the deputation.
