RENOUNCED BY WOOLWORTH HEIRESS NEW YORK, Dec. 16. Barbara Hutton, the Woolworth heiress, on a surprise one-day visit to the United States, renounced her American citizenship. She said: "Dual nationality has resulted in various legal complications. I sincerely regret that circumstances beyond my control have compelled my action.”
