ANNUAL COMMUNICATION ELECTION OF OFFICERS GRANDMASTER INVESTED [ Per Press Association. I AUCKLAND, Nov. 24. About 450 delegates from all parts of the Dominion were present to-day at the opening of the annual communication of Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand. The gathering was presided over by the Governor-Gen-eral, Viscount Galway, in his capacity as Grandmaster. Consideration of annual reports of the Masonic boards and of remits dealing with the administration of the craft tormed the business of the morning session. The Grand Lodge then adjourned until the evening, when, at a gathering of over 2000 in the Town Hall, in spectacular and colourful ceremonies peculiar to the craft, the Grandmaster was reinstalled and other officers for the year were invested. Colonel J. J. Esson presided as installing Grandmaster, and other parts of the investiture ceremonies were carried out by Sir Stephen Allen, of Morrinsville, Messrs. G. Barclay, of Dunedin, and H. G. Teagle and G. Russell, of Wellington, S. C. Bingham, of Christchurch, and M. Thompson and W. R. T. Leighton, of Auckland. After his installation, the Grandmaster addressed the gathering on Masonic topics. Grand officers and boards for 193738 are: —Grandmaster, Viscount Galway; pro-Grandmaster, Mr. W.
