RECOGNITION OF STATUS MINISTER’S STATEMENT [ British Official Wireless.] RUGBY, Nov. 23. Further measures designed to recognise the full status of the Territorial Army as an integral part of the defence system were announced in the House of Commons by Mr. HoreBelisha. The changes include provision for two vacancies at the Staff College and one vacancy at the Imperial Defence College for Territorial Army officers. ARMY RESERVE INCREASED STRENGTH [ British Official Wireless.] RUGBY, Nov. 23. Mr. L. Hore-Belisha informed the House of Commons that the strength of the Army reserves in September was 123,351, compared with 115,000 in September, 1936. The supplementary reserve also showed an increase.
