WANGANUI CLUB FIELD EVENTS I! VX OK APS FOR THIS EVENING. Following are the handicaps for field events to be held in conjunction with the Wanganui Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club's meeting this evening, comm encing at 5.30: Discus Throw.—J. D. Morgan scr., A. Adlam sft., S. I. Nolan 20ft., J. Wilson 25ft., R. Prince 30ft. Hop,. Step, and Jump.—P. Hayes scr., J. Wilson 12in., M. Shewan Ift. 6in., E. Wilson Ift. 6in., L. Stephenson 3ft. 6in. Walking. A move has been made to establish the sport of walking in the club and an event is to be held this evening. It will take the form of a half-mile handicap. Any interested are invited to compete.
