DUKE AND DUCHESS OF WINDSOR AMERICAN FRONT PAGES (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) Received Nov. 19, 11.30 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 18. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor are again finding the front pages, owing to a combination oi circumstances, including the wedding of Mr. Ernest Simpson and Mrs. Raffray, and the arrival of Mr. Herman Rogers. Mr. Simpson and Mrs. Raifray were married quietly in the presence of Mr. Simpson’s parents. The licence stated that Mr. Simpson is 40, and Mrs. Raff ray 41.

Mr. Merman Rogers said that the Duke and Duchess of Windsor could not be happier. There were a lot of stories going round about the Duke. “We think he is a great fellow,” he added.

A dancing mistress at Hollywood said American women were aping the Duchess of Windsorwalk, which she described as a stooped sideswirg gait. A Boston message says that clerks handling the national unemployment census received a card signed “the Duke of Windsor,” stating that lhe writer was “an unemployed, homeless housing expert.” The 1938 edition of the New York Social Register omits the Duke and Duchess ol Windsor and Mr. Ernest Simpson, all of whom were listed in 1937.
