SECOND ARBITRATION COURT
APPOINTMENT OF ASSESSORS. [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. The Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, announced to-day that Mr. W. E. Anderson, secretary of the Employers’ Association, Auckland, had been nominated by the employers as their assessor on the second Arbitration Court, and Mr. D. I. McDonald, of Christchurch, as deputy employers’ assessor. The Minister also announced that the workers’ representatives would confer this afternoon to nominate their representatives on the Court. There are 13 nominations for the position of workers’ representative and deputy-representative for the second Court of Arbitration. Balloti ing is now in progress and the decisions will be considered on Monday I evening by the National Executive of the Federation of Labour.
