DISTRICT NURSING LEAGUE

The monthly meeting of the Wanganui District Nursing League was held in St. Paul's committee room on Monday afternoon, November 1. Those present were: Mesdames Duddings (chair), Siddells, Peck, Williams, Hair, Roche, Hanson and Miss Kennedy. An apology for absence was received from Mrs. Warnock. The minutes of the present report were read and confirmed. Sister Lee reported having paid 367 visits, seven new cases, two re-admitted, three discharged. It was proposed by Mrs. Siddells and seconded by Mrs. Hair that the following accounts be passed for payment: Car allowance, £5; comfort allowance, £3 10s; total, £8 10s. Visitors for November are Mrs. Roche and Mrs. Hair. Mattresses, blankets, sheets and pillow cases have been distributed among the patients of the league.
