THIRD BODY FOUND
AUCKLAND NAVAL TRAGEDY [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, Nov. 7. Discovered by a launch party on the beach near a beacon close to Islington Bay, Rangitoto, this afternoon, a body was taken to the city morgue by a boat from the naval base at Devonport and was later identified from the clothing as that of Leading Seaman Forbes, one of three naval ratings from the Leander who were drowned when a cutter capsized in the harbour on September 30. Forbes, who 23 years of age, came from Strabane, Northern Island. The bodies of the two other ratings who were drowned when the cutter capsized were discovered at intervals some time after the tragedy.
