EUROPEAN DICTATORSHIPS

COMMENT BY JAMES Received Nov. 7, 9.5 p.m. CHICAGO. Nov. 6. Mr. James Roosevelt, delivering a message to the Church group for the President, said: “ In Europe dictatorships came because man had been educated out of his demand that there should be dignity in the single human life. Political freedom, economic and even religious freedom had come to seem hardly worth fighting for, and with the loss of that vital spark men no longer were the sons of God in their own eyes and were easily herded to be cannon fodder for Caesar.”
