CLAIM FOR £52 MAGISTRATE’S FINDING At the Wanganui Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., gave judgment for defendant with costs and witnesses’ expenses in an action beought by Clifford John Dickie, a Waverley farmer, against Leonard Thomas Hurley, a lorrydriver, of Waitotara. The claim was for L 52 7s damages arising from a collision on the main highway near the Waverley Racecourse early one morning last February. The claim was heard at a special fixture at Waverley on October 13, the Court being occupied throughout the day in hearing evidence. Mr. A. D. Brodie, Wanganui, appeared for Dirkie and Mr. J. H. Cowdcll, Waverley, for Hurley.
