NEGRO’S APPEAL FAILS
Received Oct. 27, 5.5 p.m. WASHINGTON, Oct. 26. The Supreme Court refused to review the sentence of 75 years’ imprisonment which was imposed on Haywood Paterson, a negro, who was found guilty of assault on two white women at Scottsboro.
