TERM EXTENDED. [ British Official Wireless. ] RUGBY, Oct. 11. The terms of appointment of Sir Herbert William Emerson as Governor of the Punjab expires in April. He will afterwards proceed on six months’ leave. The King has approved the reappointment of Sir Herbert for a further two years from the expiry of his leave.
