INTENSIVE GOLD PRODUCTION DEPOSITS TO BE EXPLOITED LONDON, Oct. 12. The Telegraph says intensive production of gold from mines in West Wales will begin shortly. A crushing and extracting mill, handling 40,000 tons yearly, is in readiness near Lampeter. Deposits which have not been intensively exploited since the Roman occupation will be opened again soon. Three hundred tons recently sent abroad for smelting yielded an ounce of gold and half an ounce of silver per ton.
