COINS IN PUDDING
DANGER STRESSED BY BOY Al. MINT LONDON, Oct. 12. A special warning not to put the new twelve-sided threepenny pieces in Christmas puddings, has been issued by the Royal Mint. The coins are a brass and nickel combination, an official said. A pudding would not necessarily be poisoned by their inclusion, although if enough metal were dissolved it possibly would be. But in any case it would be tainted. The min’t advise is to put no coins in puddings as they ail contain a large amount of alloy.
